Laws of Indices
- Multiplication Law: add the powers if the bases are the same, ($a^m \times a^n = a^{m+n}$)
- Division Law: subtract the powers if the bases are the same, ($\frac{a^m}{a^n} = a^{m-n}$)
- Raising to a Power Law: multiply the powers, $(a^m)^n = a^{m \times n}$
- Power of 0, ($a^0 = 1$)
- Negative Powers, ($a^{-m} = \frac{1}{a^m}$)
