CSEC - Geography General

Bryan Balkissoon is an ambitious academic with a history of scholastic achievement and lofty aspirations. Bryan began this journey at the Grant Memorial Presbyterian School, where he wrote the S.E.A. examination in 2018, placing 20th in the country.

In the CSEC Examinations, Bryan upheld this bar of excellence, scoring all 9 grade ones in his subjects, and achieving 5th place in the Caribbean for CSEC Geography, with a vivid enthusiasm for World History and Sociology. Presently studying for the CAPE Examinations, he pursues Biology, Pure Mathematics, Chemistry, and French, with plans to delve into International Relations.

Currently attending Naparima College, Bryan has secured many positions of leadership within the student body, being the president of the Naparima College Interact Club, as well as a member of the Naparima College’s Student Council. Through these, he has participated in many charity-related activities, making strides in community service and humanitarianism.

Outside of school, Bryan has taken part in many youth-related events, even joining the Trinidad and Tobago National Youth Ambassador Programme, where he currently holds the position of Regional Representative for his area. In this vein, he has worked on advocating for youth empowerment, in his role as a National Youth Ambassador.

Furthermore, Bryan has a passion for many extracurricular activities, including Archery and a newfound love for hiking. His love for music has earned him a Grade 4 Practical level certification for piano, as his endeavours in this field continue.

With his passion for language, arithmetic, and the sciences, both natural and social, Bryan is an ardent worker and enthusiastic visionary, supporting his goals of helping others, be it academically or socially.
