REMEMBER: You critique MUST be in continuous prose - there should be no skipped lines or page break throughout the critique. Also, unlike the 'Research Report', there is no 'Table of Contents', 'Appendix', or 'Bibliography' in this particular component. It is simply the cover page and the critique. Ideally, your critique should follow the Theatre Arts Syllabus's Marking Criteria on pages 80 to 84. Here, there marks are broken down comprehensively for candidates' understanding of how marks shall be allocated.
NOTE: Candidates are NOT penalized for exceeding the word limit. While CXC recommends a maximum of 500 words for the Critique, some may exceed the word limit in order to thoroughly meet specific criterion. However, if your teacher or instructor advises against this, it is, of course, advised to adhere to their guidelines.
