-If you want to replace a noun that includes the preposition à, use ‘y’
-If you want to replace a noun that includes the preposition ‘de, use ‘en’
On va en parler. (On va parler de ça) We are going to talk about it.
On y va. (On va à la plage). We are going there.
-If you want to say something like “I’m going”, it must be ‘J’y vais’. This shows that there is an end point to the action. -This means that “Je vais” is not a sentence.
